Türk Plastik, Rekonstrüktif Ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği Tarafından 4 Ekim 2019’da Trabzon’da Yapılan Migren Cerrahisi Toplantısı Sonuç Bildirgesi

“Migren sadece baş ağrısı değildir!”

Türk Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Derneği Bölge Toplantıları kapsamında, 4 Ekim 2019 tarihinde Trabzon’da düzenlenen “Migren Cerrahisi” toplantısında toplumun %20’ye yakınını ilgilendiren ve günlük yaşantısını olumsuz etkileyen migren hastalığı Anatomi, Fizyoloji, Nöroloji ve Plastik Cerrahi uzmanlarının katılımıyla masaya yatırıldı. 

Migren, nöroloji uzmanlarınca tedavi edilen sebebi ve tablosu karmaşık bir hastalıktır. Tıbbi tedaviden fayda görmeyen kronik migren hastalarında cerrahi tedavinin belli oranlarda faydalı olduğu son 20 yıldır kanıta dayalı bilimsel çalışmalarla  desteklenmiştir. Migren ameliyatı 2000’ li yılların başından bu güne 20 yıldır, Amerika’nın bir çok eyaletinde yapılmakta bazı sigorta şirketleri tarafından ödemeleri karşılanmaktadır. Avrupa ülkeleri ve Amerika’da migren cerrahisi konusunda özelleşmiş merkezler ve eğitim birimleri mevcuttur.

Modern dünyada uygulanmaya başlanan endoskopik, ya da açık cerrahi yöntemle, sinir dallarının basıya maruz kaldığı bölgelerde, sinir serbestleştirme işlemi ülkemizde de başarı ile uygulanmaktadır.

Tıbbi tedavi ile sonuç alınamamış hastaların, dünyada geçerliliği gösterilmiş bu cerrahi tedaviden yararlanabilmesi için nöroloji ve plastik cerrahi uzmanlarının işbirliği içinde çalışması, ülkemiz insanına da şifa olarak dönecektir.
